TAMPA BAY FILM OPINION:
What's
this? A 48 hour film entry that is actually good? It speaks volumes
about the talent behind this short film. Top-notch camera work, acting,
sound, and story come together for a really slick little piece. It is
too bad that the compression used on the upload made the credits unreadable,
because these filmmakers need to be known. The title sequence was excellent,
too.

TAMPA BAY FILM OPINION:
Another
excellent "Web Cast" VLOG format indie film series with great
acting and this really shows what is possible with next to no budget.
Who needs special effects, extras, and location permits when you have
a great story, tight scrip, and a good actress? Since this is a realistic
and horrific scenario which could actually happen here in Tampa Bay,
this makes the story especially disturbing. Highly Recommended.

GENRE:

CONTENT WARNING:

TOTAL RUNNING TIME

TAMPA BAY FILM OPINION:
Wow.
We want to see this film today. The acting and the filmed scenes are
some of the best ever for any Tampa Bay film production company. The
premise, however, reminds some of us of the Lizzie Mcguire movie where
the character has to take the place of a singer who looks exactly like
her; Pop is darker, more realistic, and would do the premise justice.

SYNOPSIS:
It sucks being a teenager. We've all been there. Trying to find an identify,
trying to fit in to a certain group, just trying to deal with everyday
life. But, what if you don't fit in? What if you don't belong? In POP,
four teenage girls that are outcasts try to make a stand and have their
voice heard. To do all that, they decide to kidnap a female pop star,
Kristen Hall, who is the biggest star in the world today. This is the
second scene out of two. We're currently looking for funding to finish
the rest of the film. - Director Chris Woods, Pop.
